ERCG combines the expertise of several innovative companies to push the boundaries of catalysis. Focused on high-tech catalysts, ERCG drives innovation through a unique platform blending advanced science, modern technologies, and practical expertise. By balancing internal growth of its portfolio companies with strategic acquisitions, ERCG delivers tailor-made solutions for industries like energy, environmental protection, and chemical production.

ERCG History

The history of the ERCG group is one of growth, innovation, and the strategic integration of key players in the field of catalysis. This has led to the creation of a strong, integrated platform focused on research and development, scale-up, and production of catalysts for new applications, with a strong emphasis on in-house R&D.

Originally, Ranido and Envitrack were established as independent entities. Ranido was founded to address the sluggish pace of traditional multinational companies in the industrial catalysts sector. With its revolutionary approach to shortening development cycles, Ranido brings innovations to market at record speed, making it a global leader in chemical catalysis. Its catalysts are already transforming industrial processes, from chemical production to energy applications, positioning the company as a symbol of speed, innovation, and boldness in reshaping the rules of the game.

Envitrack began as a trading company focused on precious metal chemicals and chemical commodities. Over time, it evolved into a global supplier of cutting-edge catalysts and chemical solutions. Today, it provides comprehensive services, ranging from launching production units to addressing specific challenges faced by its clients. By combining commercial and technological expertise, Envitrack has become a key partner for industrial innovation worldwide.

In 2023, a major milestone was reached with the establishment of ERCG Holding a.s. as an umbrella organization, consolidating the individual companies into the ERCG group. That same year, the group acquired the Karlovy Vary production plant of Imerys Tableware CZ s.r.o. from the French multinational group IMERYS SA, laying the foundation for the creation of KV Catalysts.
